Es ist bekannt (?), seit du geschrieben hast, als man in Memphis (beisammen) sitzt: "Folgendes: Lass mir einen Schrein von eineinhalb Ellen anfertigen!", während man zu dir sagte: "Mann von siebeneinhalb Ellen, wie willst du denn in ihn hineingehen?", als man ihn dir aber gefertigt hatte, 〈gingst〉 du 〈hinein und〉 ruhtest in ihm!

  • - mtr nꜣw: Unklarer Satz, der in Kol. 9.1 erneut begegnet. Er wird diskutiert von Winand und Gohy, in: LingAeg 19, 2011, 205, Beisp. 223, die sich für eine Lösung als sḏm=f Passiv gefolgt von einem Objekt nꜣ entscheiden: "J'ai été informé de cela". Andere Deutungen sind ein Substantivalsatz mit nꜣw als Subjekt: "this is an admonishment" (Borghouts, Ancient Egyptian Magical Texts, 90) und ein Verbalsatz: "I (?) testify to this" (Leitz, Magical and Medical Papyri, 45 mit Anm. 114). Vgl. pBudapest 51.1960, Kol. B.8 und C.4: mtr n=j m-ḏr jwi̯=k [...] n=j (Kákosy, in: ZÄS 117, 1990, 145 und 147: "Es wird mir gemeldet, wenn du zu mir kommst"). Fischer-Elfert, Altägyptische Zaubersprüche, 44 hat ebenso "Es wurde mir gemeldet, als du kamst" und er verweist (S. 135) auf Vernus, À propos de certains substantifs formés sur mtr, in: Hathor. Estudos de egiptologia 2, 1990, 21: "C'est une indication/fait reconnu pour moi" (non vidi).
