das bedeutet, daß (man) sagt: "(Es) gibt ein Klaffen (wörtl.: es wird geklafft) seitens des Fleisches (d.h. der Haut);

  • - ḏd pw kfi̯.tw jn ḥꜥw: Abweichend von den übrigen Bearbeitungen transliteriert Meltzer (in: Sanchez/Meltzer, Edwin Smith Papyrus, 32) ḏd pw kft wjn ḥꜥw und er übersetzt: "It is the knife which has grazed(?) the flesh". Hierzu muß er einen jn-Satz ("Participial Statement" jn + Subjekt + Partizip) ansetzen ohne jn; das kf-Messer ist ein Maskulinum (van der Molen, Hieroglyphic Dictionary of the Egyptian Coffin Texts, 672; Hannig, Ägyptisches Wörterbuch II/2, 2575 {35208}), kein Femininum kf.t; wjn wäre ohne Determinativ und hätte eine sonst nicht belegte Bedeutung.
