  • - s.t jb oder s.t-jb: "Stelle des jb-Herzens" wird teilweise als ein (lexikalisiertes) Kompositum, teilweise als eine normale Genitivverbindung aufgefaßt. Da es inmitten von anderen Körperteilen erwähnt wird, erwartet man, daß es auch eine Körperteilbezeichnung ist. Die Stelle/Stätte des jb-Herzens (als Genitiv) ist der Ort, wo sich das Herz befindet, weshalb Ritner, in: JNES 65, 2006, 102 mit "chest" übersetzt. Für Walker (Anatomical Terminology, 147, 158, 176-177) mit seiner Interpretation von jb als "mind, person, self", ist s.t-jb wohl eine Bezeichnung für das physische Herz. Breasted versteht s.t-jb als ein Kompositum mit dem Bildungselement s.t für Aktivitäten, weshalb er mit "pulse" übersetzt (ebenso Allen, Art of Medicine, 73). Ebbell, Alt-ägyptische Chirurgie, 16 hat "Stelle des Magens", weil er jb fälschlicherweise als "Magen" identifiziert (zur Identifikation siehe Ebbell, in: Acta Orientalia 15, 1937, 293-296). MedWb II, 701 trägt es als Genitiv-Verbindung unter s.t ein.
