    - Es ist unklar, ob in der Konstruktion wnn=f ḥr sḏm ... jw=f ḥr sḏm (hier mit Stativ statt Infinitiv: vgl. weitere Beispiele für wnn=f sḏm(.w) bei Satzinger, Neuägyptische Studien, 95 und 97) jw ky nmḥ(.w) (so Quack, Ani, 45) oder jw pꜣ ꜥq.w mn(.w) das zweite Glied ist. Statt jw pꜣ ꜥq.w mn(.w) (mit einem eindeutigen Stativ in Zl. 21.12) kann man auch jw pꜣ ꜥq.w (ḥr) mn lesen.
    - Die Emendierung von n nach Quack beruht auf der möglichen Lesung von pDeM 1: wꜥ sbi̯(.w) jw [ky mn] ꜥq.w n=f ⸮r? sn.nw: "Einer ist dahingegangen, während [ein anderer an]dauert (?); Speisen gehören ihm als Gefährte (?)". Andere Übersetzungen erfordern ebenfalls Emendierungen: Lichtheim: "But food remains for him who shares it" (etwa jw pꜣ ꜥq.w mn n jri̯.y{=f} sn-nw; ähnlich Lalouette: "mais les aliments demeureront pour celui qui en a fait alors deux parts"); Roccati: "ma il pane rimane a chi si fa compagno" (etwa jw pꜣ ꜥq.w mn n jri̯.y 〈n〉=f sn-nw); Vernus: "Mais la nourriture est établie pour celui qu'il doit traiter en compagnon (?)" (etwa: jw pꜣ ꜥq.w mn n jri̯.y=f 〈m〉 sn-nw mit jri̯.y=f als Relativform).
