  • - mꜣ.tj n.j rwḏ: Unklare Stelle. Derselbe Zusammenhang mit dem Phönix findet sich im pTurin CGT 54050, Rto 2.6-7 (= Pleyte-Rossi, Tf. 118 = Roccati, Magica Taurinensia, 23 und 161.30-31), wo rwḏ möglicherweise als Verb verstanden wird. Gardiner, Chester Beatty Gift, 58 übersetzt "two ends (?) of a sinew were drawn from its brow and made into seven knots." Dawson, in: JEA 22, 1936, 106-107 nimmt Stellung zu der Übersetzung von Gardiner und bietet als Alternative "the shafts of the crest (of a heron)", wobei mꜣ.tj für "shafts" und rwḏ für das Wort "thong" steht und die Beschaffenheit der Schäfte als "leathery" beschreibt. Borghouts, 81 hat "the two crests (? mꜣ.ty) of the tendon in its vertex were drawn out and fitted with 7 knots."
    - mꜣ.tj: Gardiner, Chester Beatty Gift, 58, Anm. 4 hält mꜣ.tj für ein unbekanntes Wort und übersetzt auf Grund des Kontextes "two ends (?)". Meeks, AL 77.1572 fragt sich, ob es ein Dual von mꜣ/mꜣ.t: "Ende (eines Schiffes), sowohl Bug (mꜣ ḥꜣ.tj) als auch Heck (mꜣ pḥ.wj)" sein könnte. Die Literaturverweise bei Andreu & Cauville, in: RdE 29, 1977, 8 und bei Meeks, AL 77.1572 und AL 78.1593 beziehen sich alle auf diese Stelle in pChester Beatty VII, Rto 4.1.
