  • sḫꜣ: Vernus (Sagesses, 338, Anm. 132) geht von der abgeleiteten Bedeutung "sich verbeugen vor" aus: "Ne fais pas de signe d'allégeance à un homme", aber diese Bedeutung ist laut Wb. IV, 235.3 nur in griech.-röm. Texten belegt und hat den Mann in Verbeugung als Determinativ. Griffith erwägt noch die Übersetzung "Do not have consideration (?) of a person", was Simpson übernimmt als "Do not pay attention to a person" (in der 3. Aufl. von "Literature" hat Simpson hingegen: "Do not ingratiate yourself with a person").
