  • Nur durch zahlreiche Korrekturen kann dieser Satz überhaupt übersetzt werden. Ich schließe mich den Korrekturen Massarts an (vgl. S. 179, Anm. 10: "It is with great hesitation that I propose this translation which supposes: (a) that pḫpḫ is (by dittography) for pḫꜣ and that it is a passive sḏm=f with future meaning (quite possible in Middle Egyptian); (b) that mt-dt must be for m-dt 'width'; (c) that jmt=k which does not exist is for jm=k. The text thus corrected may mean: 'any man will be able to split your back'."
