  • - ḫt[m.w=f sḏ jm]: So rekonstruiert von Helck, Spannungen, 46-47, übernommen von Redford, Tod Inscription 42. Quack, Merikare, 129 rekonstruiert die Stelle wie folgt: ḫ.t [wꜣi̯.t(j)] {jri̯} 〈r〉 sḫm j[m] m (?) nf 〈ni̯〉 j:ḫm.w jꜣi̯ "die Flamme [hatte sich dort (?) bemächtigt] jener Leute, die kein Lobpreis kennen" und schließt die folgenden Partizipialkonstruktionen daran an (siehe nächsten Kommentar).Barbotin / Clère, L'inscription, 9 konnten nichts mehr erkennen und lassen die Lücke leer.
