  • Den Nachsatz ergänzt Gardiner zu: „Horus ist [gesund] für seine Mutter Isis“, womit er auf Formulierungen wie in Vso. 3,13-4,1 anspielt: ꜥḥꜥ=f snb(.w) n mw.t=f mj ꜥḥꜥ Ḥr.w snb(.w) n mw.t=f ꜣs.t: „Möge er gesund für seine Mutter aufstehen, wie Horus gesund für seine Mutter Isis aufstand“. Roccati, Magica Taurinensia, 170 erwägt dagegen: „(come fece ?) Horo per sua madre Isi“.

  • pri̯ m: Gardiner, DZA 50.143.860 übersetzt es direktiv: „Wasser[,] das vom Blut einer Kuh (?) hervorkommt“, Roccati, Magica Taurinensia, 170 identifizierend: „Acqua che esce come sangue di una vacca femmina“. Rinderblut kommt in den medizinischen Texten nicht sehr häufig vor (vgl. DrogWb, 444-448). Beides ist praktisch denkbar: Da Blut im Normalfall relativ schnell gerinnt, könnte mit „Wasser/Flüssigkeit, das/die aus dem Blut hervorkommt“ noch nicht geronnenes Blut meinen, das sich in ansonsten schon geronnenem Blut befindet. Mit „Wasser, das als Blut hervorkommt“ könnten Libationsspenden oder Wasser aus dem Ritual vom Zerschlagen der Roten Töpfe gemeint sein. Denn Letzteres geschah zusammen mit der Opferung von Rindern, „and, although this is never said in so many words in Egyptian texts, it is quite possible that the water streaming from the jars represents the blood (dšrw (...)) flowing out of the bull when its throat has been cut“ (J. van Dijk, LÄ VI, 1986, s.v. „Zerbrechen der roten Töpfe“, 1389-1396, hier 1393 mit Verweis auf Kees, in: Nachrichten von der Akademie der Wissenschaften in Göttingen: Philologisch-Historische Klasse 11, 1943, 462 [non vidi]). Zu betonen ist, dass hier dezidiert Blut eines weiblichen Rindes verwendet werden soll.
