  • - bn: Singulärer Fall in diesem Text, bei der die neuägyptische Negation statt mittelägyptisch nn verwendet wird.
    - ḥtꜣ: Gardiner, Chester Beatty Gift, 110 übersetzt ohne weiteres mit "Nothing dirty that thou hast done shall besmirch (?) thee." Ein Substantiv ḥtꜣ: "Schäbiges" ist sonst nur im Oracular Amuletic Decree BM 10587, Vso Zl. 45 belegt als etwas, vor dem man geschützt wird. Edwards übersetzt mit "squalor" (Edwards, Oracular Amuletic Decrees of the Late New Kingdom, HPBM IV/1, 43, Anm. 32). Ist es dasselbe Wort wie die Hautkrankheit ḥtꜣ.w: "Flecken" (MedWb 638)? Das Verb ḥtꜣ bedeutet nicht "schmutzig sein" (Wb. 3, 182.14), sondern "zerreißen, zerfetzen; schäbig, zerlumpt, zerrissen sein" (Quack, Ani, 115, Anm. 109; vgl. Caminos, LEM, 290-292). Das einmal in einem medizinischen Text belegte ḥṯꜣ: "ein krankhafter Zustand oder Tätigkeit des Herzens" (MedWb 640) scheint eine Graphie von ḥṯ: "einsinken" zu sein (Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 112, 113). Borghouts, The Magical Texts of Papyrus Leiden I 348, 1971, 121, Anm. 261 identifiziert ein Substantiv "rags; raggy, dirty attire".
