  • wtjw: Ein Hapax legomenon; die Schreibung ist mehrdeutig: Die hier verwendete Transkription ist konform mit der Transliteration des Hieratischen von Wreszinski. Wb 1, 289.15 transkribiert das Wort dagegen wwtjw, schließt aber Lesungen als wtjw und twtjw nicht aus. Grundriß der Medizin V, 169 und DrogWb 145 kehren wieder zur Lesung von Wreszinski zurück; DrogWb hält aber die Transkription von Wb 1, 289.15 als Alternative für denkbar.

    Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 601, Anm. 77 denkt an einen Zusammenhang mit jt: „Gerste“ und vergleicht auch mit dem t’-wt-Brot.
