  • [nꜣ] ꜣpd.w: Besser so als Condons singularisches [pꜣ] ꜣpd.

    Die Lesung des Satzendes ist unsicher. Gardiner las n nms.t und bot zunächst keine Interpretation an (s. DZA 50.130.910); später wurde die Stelle aber als zweiter Beleg für nms.t von Wb 2, 269.10 abgelegt, dessen erster Beleg aus pHarris 500 stammt. Condon und Kitchen lasen statt n nms.t dagegen snm und denken an das Verb „mästen, füttern“ (Wb 4, 164.1-16). Allerdings ist erstens das waagerechte Zeichen, dass beide als z interpretierten, doch eher ein n; und zweitens ist das letzte, leider tlw. zerstörte Zeichen des Wortes, definitiv nicht der sitzende Mann mit Hand am Mund allein.
    Hier wird als dritte Option, neben Gardiners n nms.t und Condons/Kitchens smn (letzteres mangels Alternativen anfangs auch in der ersten TLA-Fassung und der darauf basierenden TUAT-Übersetzung übernommen) noch n nmj.t vorgeschlagen, die aber ebenso stark spekulativ bleiben muss.
