  • Bemerkenswert ist der Wechsel der Person, hier wie auch im nächsten Satz. Lichtheim ergänzt: "〈May the Bull-of-the-West transfigure him〉 when you (sic) join him at his oars." Lichtheim, 95, Anm. 2. Diese Ergänzung basiert auf Parallelen wie Louvre C 3, 13, München Gl. WAF 35, 13-14 und British Museum EA 567, 9-10.
    Die Bedeutung von ḥkn ist ungewiss. S. a. Lichtheim, 80 Anm. 5. Vernus übersetzt die Variante ḥkn.n=f m ḥp.wt=f in Louvre C 3, 13 mit "après qu'il a saisi ses rames". Vernus, in: RdE 25, 1973, 218. Lilian Postel stellt die Unterscheidung zwischen ḥkn "jubeln" (Wb 3, 178.2-179.3) und ḥkn (Wb 3, 179.4) aufgrund des Determinativs des schlagenden Armes in Frage und übersetzt deshalb die hier diskutierte Passage mit "puisses-tu te réjouir...". Sie schließt eine Metathese von ḥnk mit der Bedeutung "legen" nicht aus (vgl. ḥnky,t "Bett"). Postel, in: BIFAO 103, 2003, 402-403 Anm. 131.
