  • - wꜣ.t: der "Weg des Regens" (so Erman [Gespräch], Goedicke, Quirke) ist unklar, weshalb eine Emendierung von ḥw.yt zu ḥwi̯.t (Partizip Passiv) mit Erman, Literatur, 129 zu "ein betretener (?) Weg" im Sinne von einem gut gebahnten Weg angebracht erscheint (so Faulkner, Lichtheim, Lalouette, Bresciani, Parkinson, Assmann, Mathieu); vgl. ḥwi̯ mṯn und ḥwi̯ wꜣ.t: "einen Weg einschlagen". Es würde gut mit dem nächsten Vers zusammenpassen. Sethe, Erläuterungen, 66 (zu Lesestücke 46.9-10) erkennt in wꜣ.t den Infinitiv von wꜣi̯: "fern sein" und verweist noch auf Zl. 139 kfi̯.t-p.t. Deshalb übersetzt Scharff: "wie das Aufhören des Regens" (gefolgt von Jacobsohn, Wilson, Barta, Hornung, Lohmann, obwohl laut Wb. I, 245. 11 die Bedeutung "sich entfernen" nur demotisch und griechisch belegt ist).
    - jwi̯: Barta transkribiert jwi̯.t (Infinitiv) und viele übersetzen mit einem Infinitiv oder Substantiv statt mit einem sḏm=f (letzteres Erman, Scharff, Bresciani, Kitchen, Tobin).
    - pr=sn: "das Zuhause": siehe Gunn, in: JEA 36, 1950, 111 (und vorher schon vermutet von Sethe, Erläuterungen, 66).
