  • - Bedeutung: der unsichtbare Gott ist eine Welle, der in seiner sichtbaren Prozessionsgestalt, d.h. als Kultbild, einer weiteren Welle entspricht. Es wurde auch vermutet, daß der dritte Vers nicht an der richtigen Stelle steht: siehe Burkard, Textkritische Untersuchungen, 94-95 und 338.
    - trj/twr: Übersetzung in Anlehnung an Fecht (in: MDAIK 47, 1991, 121) und Vernus; ebenso Posener, in: Annuaire du Collège de France, 66, Résumé des cours de 1965-1966, 342. Quack hält ḥr wꜣ.t=f für eine adverbiale Emphase. Es wurde auch optativisch ("Man möge Gott verehren/Gott möge verehrt werden") (Gardiner, Lichtheim, Parkinson, Tobin) und als Imperativ mit tw als Verstärkung ("Verehre du Gott") (Volten, Wilson, Faulkner, Helck; Assmann, Theologie und Frömmigkeit, 57) übersetzt. Das würde besser zum Rubrum des ersten Verses als Anfang eines neuen Abschnitts passen, wäre jedoch ziemlich banal, was den zweiten Vers angeht und würde den dritten Vers nicht erklären.
