McDowell, Jurisdiction in the Workmen's Community of Deir el-Medîna; Leiden 1990 (EE 5), S. 33-36 sprach sich dafür aus, ꜥrq(+Reflexivpronomen) besser mit "abjure" oder "forswear" zu übersetzen, was aber an der vorliegenden Stelle nicht zu passen scheint, da hier eher etwas positiv bezeugt wird.
