  • Der zweite Vers bereitet wiederum Schwierigkeiten. Roccati, Quirke und Jäger übersetzen mit "Nützlicher für dich ist ein Tag in der Schule als eine Ewigkeit bei der Arbeit mit Steinen" (mit jw für r). Dann ist man aber gezwungen, das in allen Handschriften erhaltene Suffixpronomen in kꜣ.t=s zu tilgen, obwohl =s auch in § 22.3 und vielleicht in § 22.5 vorkommt.
    Andere Interpretationen lauten:
    - Brunner, Cheti, 23: "eine Ewigkeit dauert (?) die in ihr geleistete Arbeit, wie (?) Berge" (etwa: jw nḥḥ 〈?n?〉 kꜣ.t=s 〈mj〉 ḏw.w);
    - Wilson: "The eternity of its work is (like that of) the mountains" (etwa: jw nḥḥ kꜣ.t=s 〈mj〉 ḏw.w);
    - Parkinson: "it is for eternity; its works are mountains" (ähnlich Vernus) (etwa: jw=ø r nḥḥ / kꜣ.t=s 〈m〉 ḏw.w);
    - Helck: "Suche ihre Tätigkeit (schon) morgens auf" ({jw nḥḥ} 〈j:ḥḥ〉 kꜣ.t=s {ḏww} 〈dwꜣ.w〉).
