  • Übersetzung unsicher. Meyrat, Papyrus magiques du Ramesseum, 14 und 24 vermutet in ṯs das Verb „knoten“ und übersetzt: „le lien a été noué contre lui [...]“. Das widerspricht aber der normalen ägyptischen Satzgliedstellung, bei der adverbiale Erweiterungen hinter Prädikat und Subjekt stehen und nicht dazwischen, wie es dann hier der Fall wäre. Zu Ausnahmen vgl. immerhin GEG, § 507.2.
    Als Alternative wird daher hier angeboten, ṯs als Beleg für ṯs „knot, lashing“, Van der Molen, Dictionary of Coffin Texts, 770-771, zu verstehen und eine Parallele zwischen ṯs und mr.w anzunehmen.
    Eine zweite Alternative, in r=f die Partikel „doch o.ä.“ statt der Adverbialphrase „gegen ihn“ zu sehen und ansonsten Meyrats verbaler Auffassung von ṯs zu folgen, scheidet aus, weil die Partikel in pRamesseum VII jr= und nicht r= geschrieben wird.
