  • - nꜣ nb.w dwꜣ.t: Der Text verwendet ansonsten keine Artikel, so dass Borghouts, Ancient Egyptian Magical Texts, 85 sicherlich Recht hat, mit einem Demonstrativpronomen zu übersetzen. Auf der Statue des Djedher steht nꜣj, das neuägyptische Demonstrativpronomen.
    - ꜥḥꜥ: Die meisten Bearbeitungen erkennen eine Pseudoverbalkonstruktion mit Stativ. Jacquet-Gordon, in: The Brooklyn Museum Annual 7, 1965-1966, 63 übersetzt die Horusstele Brooklyn 60.73 mit einem attributiven Partizip: „the Ennead of Khery-aha, those lords of the waters and the underworld, standing ready to subjugate you.“
    - ḥr s〈mꜣ〉=k: Gutekunst, Textgeschichtliche Studien zum Verjüngungsspruch, 189 listet drei Belege für die Verwendung des Verbs smꜣ, aber in zwei dieser Belege (CG 9408 und CG 9409) steht laut der Edition von Daressy das zu erwartende Verb bḥn, so dass die Metternichstele hier eigene Wege geht. Auf der Vorderseite der Metternichstele (Z. 1) wird das Word sd "Schwanz" mit Stoff-s Hand und Messer (statt des Schwanzes F33) geschrieben. Vielleicht stehen die Götter der Unterwelt auf dem Schwanz eines gefährlichen Tieres, das angesprochen wird.
