- ḫtm.n n=f: Das Verb ḫtm scheint hier absolut/intransitiv (ohne direktes Objekt) verwendet zu werden. Grundriß IV/2, 147, Anm. 1 zu Fall 25 erwägt eine Emendierung zu n ḫtm.n{n}=f mit dem Patienten als Subjekt und dem Mund als Objekt (transitives Verb). Verwiesen wird dazu auf Fall 32 (Kol. 11.3), wo n gmi̯.n{n}=f pẖr=f ḥr=f: "er schafft es nicht, dass er sein Gesicht dreht" eindeutig mit einem n zu viel geschrieben ist. Bei ḫtm.n wird diese Emendierung sonst nicht vorgenommen: Breasted und die übrigen Bearbeiter haben eine Übersetzung mit "Mund" als Subjekt von ḫtm. Vgl. auch das ähnlich gelagerte Problem in Fall 32 (Kol. 11.2) mit n pẖr.n n=f nḥb.t=f oder n pẖr.n {n}=f nḥb.t=f.
