  • - šnꜥ: wird von Lange wegen des Determinativs als "Unwetter" verstanden (ebenso Shirun-Grumach). Griffith denkt an eine abgeleitete Bedeutung "obstruction" (vgl. "Hinderung": Wb. IV, 506.7 und die Krankheitserscheinung "Verstopfung": Wb. IV, 507.1-2; von Deines und Westendorf, Wörterbuch der medizinischen Texte, II, 859-861) und daher "a choking". Bei einem Substantiv müßte eigentlich zu sw 〈m〉 šnꜥ emendiert werden. Laisney geht von einem Verb aus, der Übersetzung nach zu urteilen in einer Präsens-I-Konstruktion mit Stativ: "ils sont repoussés par la gorge", obwohl die Präposition r für das Agens unüblich ist.
