  • - sḫꜣ: Gugliemi sieht einen Zusammenhang mit Wb. IV, 235.5, ein Schiffsgerät (Alliot, Culte d'Horus, II, 478 mit Anm. 5 und 546, Anm. 5: "Rah"; Wilson, Ptolemaic Lexikon, 897: "rope" (?)). Sie meint, daß es die gleiche Wurzel wie sẖꜣ: "fahren, segeln" (Wb. IV, 268.1) ist, und übersetzt: "es gibt keinen Weg, es (das Segel?) zu hissen(?)". Dann gibt es für =s aber kein Bezugswort, weshalb Brunner "doch es gibt keine Möglichkeit, sie aufzurichten" (mit sr.t: "die Stange" als Bezugswort) hat (vgl. sḫy: "erhöhen, hoch machen"). Foster denkt, daß sḫꜣ eine Kausativform von ḫꜣi̯: "messen" ist: "(But) there is no way of doing it successfully (causing it to be measured?)". Auch McDowell und Vernus scheinen an "messen" zu denken: "But it is impossible to recount" bzw. "Il n'y a pas moyen d'en faire cas". Goedicke fragt sich, ob es eine Graphie von zḫi̯: "schlagen" ist: "there is no possibility that one applies it".
