  • Crux interpretum. Die Bedeutungen von ḫrr und dfꜣ sind unbekannt und ḫrr ist wahrscheinlich fehlerhaft, da das Wort mit dem Zweikonsonantenzeichen tr (Gardiner M6) geschrieben ist. Es gibt vier Lösungsversuche:
    1. ḫrr ist ein Fehler für ḫtr (Wb. III, 353, 11: Verb unbekannter Bedeutung; Hapax): "(but) the face is powerless (?) over against one stolid (?)" (Gardiner, in: JEA 32, 1946, 73 und Anm. 11).
    2. ḫrr ist eine Schreibung für ḫwrr (Wb. III, 248, 1-2: Bedeutung unbekannt): "meek (?) to the degree of complaisance (?)" (Federn, in: JEA 36, 1950, 49, mit n-ḥr-r als einer nicht belegten zusammengestellten Präposition "onward to"); "Wer freundlich an Gesicht ist gegen den mit trägem Geist" (Fecht, in: MDAIK 37, 1981, 149).
    3. Emendation zu Partikel ḫr und Substantiv tr: "Respekt" (vgl. trj: "respektieren" und try: "Geachteter"): "So will there be personal respect toward him who is of a satisfied (?) disposition" (Barnes, in: JEA 58, 1972, 1960).
    4. Emendation zu Verb ḫr: "fallen" und Substantiv tr: "Ablehnung" (vgl. twr und trj: "abweisen" und ṯry.t: "Beschwerde"): "un rejet de la face tombe en ce qui concerne le placide (?)" (Vernus, Sagesses, 61, Anm. 22).
