  • Ḥrw-ḫntj-ꜥb.w: Vgl. etwa Lefebvre, S. 187 oder Spiegel, S. 128. Auch eine Übersetzung mit dem Adjektiv ḫntj in der Bedeutung "vornehm" o.ä. (vgl. Wb III 304, 12, so etwa Gardiner, Chester Beatty Library, S. 16: "Horus-prominent-of-horns") erhellt die Bedeutung des Namens nicht. Wente (3. Auflage), S. 94 übersetzte mit "Horus with the Projecting Horns"; grammatisch wohl ebenso, nur etwas freier übersetzte Lichtheim, S. 215: "Horned-Horus". In der Region von Gizeh gibt es eine Göttin "Mut ḫnt.yt-ꜥb.wj-nṯr.w", "Mut, die Vorsteherin der beiden Hörner der Götter", wobei es sich bei dem Beinamen und die Umdeutung eines alten Toponyms ꜥb.w-nṯr.w, "Reinigung der Götter", zu handeln scheint (J. Yoyotte; in: EPHE 89, 1980-1981, S. 73-75). Zumindest einmal kommt dieses Epitheton (ohne den Namen der Mut davor) in einer Kurzschreibung vor, die nṯr.w weglässt: Chr. Leitz, Tagewählerei. Das Buch ḥꜣt nḥḥ pḥ.wy ḏt und verwandte Texte; Bd. I; Wiesbaden 1994 (ÄA 55) S. 152-154. Ist bei Horus und Seth also von einem (sonst nicht bekannten) "Horus, Vorsteher von ꜥb.w(-nṯr.w)" die Rede (vgl. parallel den Götternamen Ḥrw-ḫnt.y-Ḫm: "Horus, Vorsteher von Letopolis" [LGG V 279b]), nach dem wiederum die Halle benannt ist?
