  • - jyi̯.n ḥm=f wsḫ,t ...: Die Übersetzung hier folgt der Segmentierung der Hieroglyphen nach Helck, Texte, 46-47. Baines, Inundation Stela, 40 mit 41 Anm. e möchte vor wsḫ.t eine Präposition r ergänzen, die als Richtungsanzeiger für die Bewegung fungiert, dass Pseudopartizip mḥ.tj würde dann attributiv zu wsḫ.t verwendet. Doch ist dies nicht notwendig, um die Stelle mit Sinn zu erfüllen. Habachi, High Inundation, 210 mit Anm. b segmentiert die Stelle völlig anders: mꜣ Ḥꜥpj wr jj n ḥm=f "Hapi, the Great, has been seen coming towards his majesty (and the hall of the temple full of water)." Nach ihm liegt dieselbe Sequenz noch einmal in Z. 7 vor (Ausnahme: ꜥꜣ statt wr), doch übersieht er, dass wegen der Lücke völlig unsicher ist, wie sich die einzelnen Bestandteile dort verhalten. Vgl. noch die Übersetzung Redfords, der ebenfalls r ergänzt: "When His Majesty came to the broad hall of this temple it was full of water." sowie die Übersetzung von Muhammad, in: ASAE 59, 1966, 148: "His Majesty came to this northern divine palace in the middle of the water" mit mḥ.tj als "Norden / nördlich", obgleich es durch die geschriebene Endung eindeutig als Pseudopartizip ausgewiesen ist.
