  • - smḥi̯: wie šdi̯ im vorherigen Satz, wird es teils als Imperativ, teils als pass. sḏm=f übersetzt.
    - r ist in pCarlsberg ausgeschrieben.
    - Km.wj: wird von den meisten Übersetzern als "Athribis" übersetzt, weil der Timsah-See sonst nicht mit dem Stier oder dem Stadtzeichen determiniert wird. In pMoskau ist nur das Stadtzeichen erhalten, in pCarlsberg steht Km-wr: eher "der Timsah-See" als "die Bitterseen" (Gomaà, Die Besiedlung Ägyptens während des Mittleren Reiches, II, TAVO 66/2, Wiesbaden 1987, 131-132). Gomaà und Vernus (Sagesses, 157, Anm. 72) gehen davon aus, daß in der Lehre für Merikare eher der Timsah-See als Athribis gemeint sein wird. Nur Lichtheim (108, Anm. 16) nimmt an, daß mit Km-wr ein Ort im Fayum gemeint ist (zu diesem Ort: Yoyotte, in: BIFAO 61, 1962, 116-117).
