  • Wreszinski, Papyrus, 103 emendiert nach Eb 61 zu 〈wdi̯〉.n ḥr.j-ẖ.t 〈m ẖ.t tn〉 „die der ḥr.j-ẖ.t in diesen meinen Leib gelegt hat“. Diese Korrektur ist jedoch unnötig; vgl. die Übersetzung in Grundriss IV.1, 153. Borghouts, Magical Texts, 46 Nr. 73 hat nicht emendiert, doch „which a creeper-on-〈his〉-belly … has released“ übersetzt. Die gleiche Übersetzung hat Bardinet, Les papyrus médicaux, 434, und, wenn auch als unsicher gekennzeichnet, Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 532. Als Hintergrund dient die „Geschichte von Isis und Re“ (pTurin; pChesterBeatty XI), in der Isis den Sonnengott von einem Skorpion stechen lässt, um ihn zur Herausgabe von dessen geheimen Namen zu erpressen.
