  • Die Konstruktion ist unklar. jw bw tkn=k sw wird hier als negativer Aorist im Umstandssatz verstanden, obwohl man vielleicht jw bw jri̯=k tkn=f erwarten würde (vier Verse weiter scheint jw bw dn=k ein negatives Perfekt zu sein). "sich jemandem nähern dürfen" bedeutet "mit jemandem vertraut sein". Fischer-Elfert übersetzt jw bw ... mit einem unabhängigen Hauptsatz (negativer Aorist), Wente mit einem negativen Perfekt als Apodosis zum hn-Satz:
    - Gardiner: "Admit(?), thou hast never approached it, nor canst thou(?) draw nigh to it.";
    - Erman, 280: "Indessen (?) du bist ihm nicht genaht und bist nicht an es herangegangen."
    - Fischer-Elfert: "Wärest du nur nicht an es herangetreten; du kannst dich ihm doch nicht nähern."
    - Wente, 104: "If only you had not drawn near to it, you would not have attempted it!"
