  • - Was vor mḥ m tkꜣ steht, ist unklar. In den Textversionen von Wien und Sydney ist die Stelle nicht erhalten, in der Textversion von Kairo ist unmittelbar vor mḥ das Wort ꜥb „Horn; Stachel“ phonetisch ausgeschrieben, d.h. das Dreieck des Sockels von Chicago kann nicht Determinativ von ṯꜣz.t „Zahn“ sein. Das erste Wort ist auf dem Sockel von Chicago eindeutig ṯz geschrieben, auf dem Sockel von Kairo ist es unklar: Daressy, in RecTrav 14, 1893, 177 fängt mit ṯzz ṯꜣz.pl (o.ä.) an. Daressy, CG 9432, 43 hat ṯn --0,5Q-- ⸮ṯsi̯? ṯꜣz.pl. Borchardt, CG 1287, 148 liest ⸮ṯ? ṯꜣz ṯꜣz.w. Klasens, in: OMRO 33, 1952, 109 übersetzt: „the vertebrae of the tail are full of fire“ (also ṯꜣz.pl (n.w) ꜥb mḥ m sḏ.t (er berücksichtigt das Vorangehende nicht in seinem Kommentar)). Altenmüller, in: OMRO 46, 1965, 32 ergänzt eine Negation: „nicht seien die Wirbel (?) Schwanzwirbel, die voll Feuer sind.“ (etwa 〈nn〉 ṯꜣz.w 〈m〉 ṯꜣz.w (n.w) ꜥb mḥ m sḏ.t in einem negativen Existenzsatz?). Van de Walle, in: JNES 31, 1972, 73 und 75 Anm. (e) hat keine Lösung, fängt jedoch mit mḥ m tkꜣ einen neuen Satz mit einem Imperativ von mḥ m "packen" an „empare-toi de la torche“.
