  • - jni̯ ḥr ḏr.w: in der ältesten Handschrift tBrooklyn 16120 und in den ramessidischen Ostraka oDeM 1368 und 1372 wird jni̯ ḏr.w ohne Präposition geschrieben und es ist fraglich, ob die Konstruktion mit Präposition wirklich existiert (siehe D. Lorton, The Juridical Terminoloy of International Relations in Egyptian Texts through Dyn. XVIII, Baltimore und London 1974, 73-75). pMillingen und pBerlin 3019 haben jni̯ r ḏr.w, pSallier II und oDeM 1370 jni̯ ḥr ḏr.w.
    - ḫpš.t: das Wort steht in Wb. III, 270, 12 als eine Bezeichung für Ägypten (sehr unsicher), es wird aber nicht in den Wörterbüchern von Faulkner oder Hannig aufgelistet. Laut Gardiner, in: Mélanges Maspero, 493 und 494 bedeutet es vermutlich "Grenzverstärkung" (gefolgt von Lichtheim; Buchberger, Transformation, 503, Anm. 119). Ein Toponym ḫpš.(y)t im thebanischen Gau kann nicht gemeint sein (J.P. Allen, The Heqanakht Papyri, PMMA 27, New York 2002, 123). Altenmüller (in: Helck, Der Text der "Lehre ...", 71) hält es für eine Verschreibung von ḫpš: "Großer Bär" (gefolgt von Burkard; abgelehnt von Blumenthal, in: ZÄS 111, 1984, Anm. 18). Es wird auch zu ḫpš: "Macht" emendiert (Faulkner, Brunner, Roccati, Parkinson, Tobin).
