Comments

  • Gardiner, S. 33: "Truth is unique(?), O Amun, above everyone that has (ever) been" (dem folgten Barucq/Daumas, S. 244). Assmann, S. 403: "Gerecht ist der Eine, Amun, mehr als alle Geschöpfe." Gardiner emendierte das maskuline wꜥ.w zum Stativ wꜥi̯.tj und ging von einem Adverbialsatz aus; Assmann vermutete dagegen in mꜣꜥ.t eine Schreibung des Adjektivs (vermutlich eher mꜣꜥ.tj als mꜣꜥ, vgl. die Graphien in Wb II, 21) und ging von einem Adjektivalsatz aus. Assmanns Übersetzung kommt ohne Emendation aus, weswegen ihm gefolgt wird; einzig in der Deutung des r wird unterschieden: komparativisch bei Assmann, direktiv hier. Alternativ ist noch eine zweite Möglichkeit in Form eines Adverbialsatzes angegeben, der ebenfalls ohne Emendationen auskommt.
