  • - sjꜣ=j: Nach Smith / Smith, Texts, 54 liegt eine emphatische Form / 2. Tempus vor, die sich auf r-jḫ bezieht: "Why do I (still) contemplate my strength", ähnlich Simpson, Literature, 346. Anders Kroeber, Neuägyptizismen, 91 mit Anm. 5 (wie meisten Bearbeiter): er versteht das Ganze als indirekte Rede, wobei sw r-jḫ eine Einheit bildet als Objektssatz zu einem Subjunktiv sjꜣ=j, so z.B. auch Gardiner, EG, § 504.1: "I should like to know (lit. let me know) to what purpose it is, (namely) my strength" (ähnlich schon in Gardiner, Defeat, 99); Kroeber verweist auch auf Sethe, in: ZDMG 79, 1925, 306, Anm. 1; Spiegelberg, in: ZÄS 63, 1928, 109.4 und Lacau, Stèle, 251; wenn sw r-jḫ ein Objektsatz ist, dann ist sw das proklitische Pronomen in einem Adverbialsatz / Präsens-I-Satz und nicht das enklitische (so z.B. explizit Kroeber).
