  • - n-zp: kann laut Gardiner, Egyptian Grammar, § 205.3 sowohl "at once" als "together" bedeuten. Letzteres erscheint uns mit den meisten Übersetzern hier sinnvoller (siehe die Begründung von Fischer-Elfert, 138, Anm. s), obwohl Schad, Entdeckung des Briefes, 28 "sofort" vorzieht.
    - sḏm sšsꜣ: Gardiner, 18*, Anm. 8 übersetzt wörtlich: "my finger hear (understand) cleverness", d.h. "my fingers are apt and clever" (ähnlich Posener, in: RdE 10, 1955, 65, Anm. E: "mes doigts entendent l'habileté"), Erman hat: "meine Finger haben gehorcht und sind (?) erfahren". Fischer-Elfert trennt sšsꜣ ab und er emendiert es zu sšsꜣ=w: "〈sie〉 sind erfahren", was bei Wente: "my fingers obey being skillful just where you go astray" ergibt. Fischer-Elfert beruft sich dabei auf den Verspunkt nach sḏm in oDeM 1006, das anschließend jedoch sšsꜣ=j lautet.
