  • Spiegelberg versteht pꜥj hier als Bezeichnung für "umarmen". Vgl. ähnlich K. Ryholt, The Carlsberg Papyri 6. The Petese Stories II, Copenhagen 2005, 60 ("he kissed him (...)"; dort auch zu grpt "betrothed"). Auch wenn unsere Übersetzung eine für einen Pharao reichlich komisch wirkende Situation voraussetzt - allerdings kaum komischer als die Szene des vorangehenden Satzes -, hat sie einiges für sich: pꜥj ist mit den laufenden Beinchen determiniert, und das n=f ist wohl der Dativus ethicus bei Verben der Bewebung, während bei einem transitiven Verbum mit der Bedeutung "küssen, umarmen" ein abhängiges Pronomen stehen sollte!
