  • Gardiner schloss diesen Satz noch an den vorherigen an und übersetzte ḥr nꜣy=k sp.w nny.t als nachgestellte Adverbiale des vorherigen Konjunktivs: "(...) and they write to thee from the Halls of the Palace on account of thy slothful actions (that) thou hast acted as a neglectful man." Die von ihm angeführten Parallelbeispiele sind jedoch alle regelkonform (das Beispiel in pChester Beatty VII, Rto. 3,1 ließe sich als Parenthese erklären); hier dagegen würde seine Übersetzung folgende Satzgliedfolge nach sich ziehen: Subjekt (=tw) + Prädikat (hꜣb) + indirektes Objekt (n=k) + adverbiale Direktivbestimmung (m nꜣ wsḫ.wt n pr-nsw ꜥnḫ-wḏꜣ-snb) + direktes Objekt (Objektsatz j:jri̯=k m rmṯ wsh) + adverbiale Kausalbestimmung (ḥr nꜣy=k zp.w nny.t). Da dies für die ägyptische Grammatik zu kompliziert scheint, wird hier mit j:jri̯=k ein neuer Satz begonnen, auch wenn er sicherlich zum vorigen gehört, da er den Inhalt der potentiellen Reaktion auf das Geschilderte wiedergibt.
