  • -ḥm ḫt: Ein fester Ausdruck aus ḥmi̯ (Wb. 3,79.1-21) und ḫti̯ (Wb. 3, 342.15-343.4). Sethe, Erläuterungen, 138, Anm. 84,7 nimmt einen Imperativ an. Sich daran orientierend: Seibert, Charakteristik, 194 Anm. c; Wolf, Das Alte Ägypten, 197; Parkinson, Voices, 45. Unerklärlich bleibt die Übersetzung von Loprieno: "Sagt man ihm bloß: 'Zurück!' ...". Breasted, Records, 296 (§ 657) übersetzt mit Passiv. Daran dachten auch Gardiner, Egyptian Grammar, 361; Blumenthal, Phraseologie, 242 ( F 4.7); Quack, in: LingAeg 3, 1963, 63-64 (Nr. 11). Nach Delia, Study, 59 ist ein unpersönlicher Infinitiv, der dann wiederum passivisch wiedergegeben werden kann, am passendsten.
