  • - m ḏrj: Die Bedeutung bleibt unklar; die Klassifikatoren O36 und A24 passen zur präpositionellen Verbindung m-ḏrj (Wb. 5, 598.13-16). Nach MedWb, 1009, n. 3 auch ḏrj "Grab, Sarg" möglich. Leitz, Magical and Medical Papyri, 70 lässt ḏrj unübersetzt: "The ibis places his snout on its ḏrj"; ebenso Wreszinski, Londoner Med. Papyrus und Pap. Hearst, 201 und Bardinet, Papyrus médicaux, 490. Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 240, Anm. 315 schlägt in Analogie zu den vorangegangenen Sprüchen vor, dass es sich bei ḏrj um eine Art Mauer oder Barriere handeln muss, die vor der Überschwemmung bewahrt. Dies würde bedeuten: Die Flut entspricht dem Blut; die Vorhalle des Grab(schacht)s entspricht der Öffnung der Wunde; Thot als Ibis entspricht dem, der den Schutzwall gegen die Flut bzw. das Blut herstellt. Als Wörter für "Mauer, Barriere" kämen ḏr/ḏrj und mḏr/jmḏr (Haplographie mit der Präposition m) in Betracht. Statt "an der Mauer" könnte man noch "als Mauer" lesen.
