  • - jw jri̯.n=j: wird meist als jw sḏm.n=f verstanden. Nur Lorton, in: JARCE 7, 1968, 50-51 hat pass. jw sḏm.w mit nominalem Subjekt und 〈j〉n tp.jw-ꜥ als logischem Subjekt: "The like was done for me by the predecessors" (gefolgt von Tobin).
    - mj.tt n: mj.tt wird eher mit direktem Genitiv verwendet; mit indirektem Genitiv braucht man eine Emendierung zu n.〈t〉 (die meisten Übersetzer übersetzen mit einem Genitiv). Quack und Vernus verstehen n tp.jw-a als Dativ, aber auf was bezieht sich dann mj.tt (vgl. gegen diese Deutung auch Jansen-Winkeln, in: OLZ 88, 1993, 479)? Lorton, in: JARCE 7, 1968, 50-51 emendiert zu 〈j〉n tp.jw-ꜥ (gefolgt von Tobin).
    - ḏi̯=f sw kann keine Relativform mit jt als Antezendent sein, weil dann sw überflüssig ist. Es muß daher ein Finalsatz oder ein Umstandssatz sein, wobei letzteres inhaltlich schwer einzuordnen ist ("Er hat keine Gerste, wenn er sie gibt"). Tobin übersetzt mit einer rhetorischen Frage: "But if someone has no grain, can he give it?" Helck emendiert zu ḏi̯=j sw: "Hatte er kein Getreide, so gab ich es." Mit der gleichen Emendierung übersetzt Parkinson "Someone had no grain, and I gave it to him." Lorton emendiert zu ḏi̯=k sw: "If it has no grain, you shall give it." (in: JARCE 7, 1968, 50-51).
