  • kkp.w ist sicher eine Verschreibung (Dittographie) für kp.w, so schon DZA 30.586.540. Zu dem Wort s. Hoch, Sem. Words, 317-318, Nr. 457. Der Schreibung nach ein Fremdwort und sicher zu akkadisch kappu, hebräisch כַּפ , arabisch كَفّ zu stellen. Die Bedeutung „Handfläche“ für das ägyptische kp ḏr.t ergibt sich daraus, dass dies den abgeschlagenen Feindeshänden in den Schlachtreliefs von Medinet Habu beigeschrieben ist. Die parallele Bildung kp (n) rd.wj spricht dann für Fußsohlen. Das demotische Derivat ist gpe: „Fußsohle“, Erichsen, Glossar, 578, und das koptische ist ϭⲟⲡ: „Fußsohle, Fuß“, bzw. ϭⲟⲡⲉ: „Hand“, Westendorf, Koptisches Handwörterbuch, 462-463.
