Es handelt sich wohl um eine Form des Theonyms Ḥp.wj (Hepui), der als Wächtergottheit fungiert, vgl. SPR S. 125; 128.

Vermutlich handelt es sich um einen s-Kausativ des Verbs ꜣḫ bzw. ı͗jẖ ('verklären') in besonderer Schreibung. Der Form nach wäre es ein Partizip Aktiv, vgl. SPR S. 125.
