  • Da unmittelbar zuvor der Name des Horus erwähnt wird, ist es gut denkbar, dass hier vom Kampf zwischen Horus und Seth die Rede ist. In dem Fall läge kein Bruder-Verhältnis vor, sondern eines von Neffe (Horus) zu Onkel (Seth). Auch dieses Verwandtschaftsverhältnis wird durch sn ausgedrückt, s. Franke, Verwandtschaftsbezeichnungen, 61-70, hier spez. 64 und 66. Welche Übersetzung bei sn dann die bessere wäre – „Neffe“ oder „Onkel“ –, hängt natürlich davon ab, wer hier redet; vermutlich ist es Horus, der in magischen Texten häufiger zu Wort kommt als Seth.
