jꜥn.w n=t: Wb 1, 41, 11-12 vermutet in jꜥn.w einen Ausdruck für „Kummer“ o.ä., gibt aber für jꜥn.w n=k die Übersetzung „Preis dir!“ (mit Fragezeichen). Gunn, in: JEA 16, 1930, 151 denkt, dass jꜥn.w die Bedeutung „attention, consideration, solicitude“ haben könnte und daher sowohl „a kind of salutation“ sein könne als auch „an expression of anxious sympathy“.
