  • Le terme est clairement déterminé par la peau de bête dans ce papyrus. Il faut peut-être lire nb sḏb{s} "le maîtres des dommages", ce qui ne tient pas compte du déterminatif mais qui pourrait s'expliquer par une écriture mécanique du nom du dieu Bès
    Allen, Book of the Dead, 217: sdb{s} "chewer".
    Quack, in WdO41/2 (2011), 258 propose de lire nb sdbḥ "le maître des outils" , épithète qui n’est pas attestée par ailleurs. De plus, aucun des deux manuscrits ne contient l’unilitaire ḥ.
    Quirke, Going out in Daylight, 534 sdb ḥḏ en se fondant sur le P. Leyde T31 qu’il traduit par "bright tearer" qui semble approprié dans le contexte, mais là aussi le manuscrit lui donne difficilement raison.
