  • mt.w n snf: „Gefäße von Blut“: Die mt.w: „Gefäße; Stränge“ sind aus ägyptischer Perspektive ein integraler Bestandteil der menschlichen Anatomie, wobei die Ägypter aber nicht zwischen Hohlgefäßen und Muskeln sowie Nerven unterschieden. Mit den hier genannten „Strängen von Blut“ sind keine „Blutgefäße“ gemeint, sondern eine krankhafte Erscheinung. MedWb 1, 405, Anm. 1 vermutet „eine Art Blutgeäder“.
