  • - mgꜣ: genaue Bedeutung unsicher, ursprünglich eine Gruppe von nubischen Soldaten. In Wb. II, 164.6 wegen der Altersstufen und des Determinativs des Kindes als "junger Krieger" übersetzt, von Erman, 250 als "Rekrut" (gefolgt von Tacke), von Jäger als "Jungkämpfer". Caminos hat "skirmisher", d.h. "Aufklärer". Guglielmi übersetzt mit "Söldner", Junge, 292 mit "Krieger" (Grandet: "un guerrier"), Vernus mit "policier", van de Walle mit "un homme de troupe".
