  • Thissen: "wird sein Ansehen gemessen" (analog jetzt auch Ritner bei Simpson, Literatur of Ancient Egypt, 2003, 509 sowie Hoffmann / Quack, Anthologie, 284). Glanvilles "length" (vgl. kopt. šfô "Parasange, Schoinos, Weglänge, Strecke") paßt im Zusammenhang aber wohl besser, wenngleich dasselbe Wort in XVII 26 tatsächlich eher mit "Ansehen" zu übersetzen ist.
