sg: man nimmt eine semitischen Ursprung sq: "Sack; Sackleinen" an (Hoch, Semitic Words, 269, Nr. 383), das Haardeterminativ spricht vielleicht für ein Produkt aus Wolle (so Gardiner, EHT, 27*, Anm. 13; gefolgt von Hannig, Handwörterbuch, 841: "*wollene Decke"). Gibt es einen Zusammenhang mit der Galabiya aus feinem Leinen, die im vorherigen Satz verkauft wurde, und ist sg dementsprechend als minderwertiger Stoff zu deuten? Fischer-Elfert fängt mit diesem Vers einen neuen Abschnitt an.
