jri̯: Zur Schreibung nur mit dem Auge, ohne wenigstens noch eine w-Schleife, vgl. Z. 21,5. Im Gegensatz zu dieser früheren Stelle könnte hier auch noch ein futurischer Adverbialsatz vorliegen ("seine Höfe werden große Wellen sein..."), vgl. dazu J. Winand, Études de néo-égyptien, Bd. 1, La morphologie verbale, Liège 1992 (AegLeod 2), S. 514-517.
Die "großen Wellen" erinnern an die wellenförmigen Umfassungsmauern mancher Tempel. Allerdings gibt es keine wellenförmigen Mauern direkt an den einzelnen Tempelhöfen oder Säulenhallen. Dass hier von Tempelhöfen die Rede ist, in die die Nilflut eindringt (zu einem solchen Ereignis vgl. P. Spencer, The Egyptian Temple. A Lexicographical Study, London/Boston, Mass./Melbourne 1984, S. 74), ist wenig wahrscheinlich, weil das Bild von hohen Wellen für die Nilflut nicht gebräuchlich ist. Condon, S. 52 vermutete darin eher eine Metapher "for that which is lofty".
