- John Taylor schreibt in einer E-Mail an P. Dils (18.02.2022): "I would certainly date the coffins of Peftjauauiaset to the 26th Dynasty. In general, they represent a more advanced stage in the evolution of Theban coffin designs than anything I know from the 25th Dynasty. In particular, the subject-matter of the decoration on the outer coffin includes elements which are not found on any 25th Dynasty examples, and the closest parallel I know is on a coffin-fragment from the tomb of Ankh-hor (TT 414), published in Bietak and Haslauer, Das Grab des Anch-Hor, II (Vienna 1982), 170-5, Taf. 116 B, with a specific reference to the coffin in Milan in note 331. Since Ankh-hor died c. 586 BC, a similar date appears likely for the Milan coffins, so I would date them to the middle part of the 26th Dynasty." Dynastie.
