  • Su ist ein nicht genau lokalisierbarer Ort im Gau von Herakleopolis, wohl in der Nähe des Eingangs zum Fayyum gelegen. Er wurde als Geburtsort des Seth angesehen. Vgl. bspw. P. Kaplony, LÄ VI, 106-108, s.v. Su, GDG V, 61, s.v. Sesou(?), Gardiner, AEO II, *117, Nr. 392C oder Grandet, Papyrus Harris I, Vol. 2, 204, Anm. 835. Zusammen mit dem Wort wpi̯: „(richterlich) entscheiden“ ist es daher denkbar, dass in diesem Satzfragment auf den Mythos vom Kampf zwischen Horus und Seth um die Herrschaft Ägyptens angespielt wird.
